E-Notary (electronic notarization) in Dubai allows you to notarize documents remotely via a live video call with a UAE-licensed Notary Public — without physically visiting the notary office. The process is legally equivalent to in-person notarization under Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2022. You can be anywhere in the world.
How E-Notarization Works — Step by Step
Contact E-Notary Dubai — tell us what you need notarized
We confirm whether your document type qualifies for e-notarization. We then draft or review the document and send it to you for approval before scheduling the video call.
Video call with UAE Notary Public — 15–20 minutes
The Notary reads the document aloud, verifies your identity on camera (Emirates ID or passport must be clearly legible), and confirms you understand and consent to the document contents. The call is conducted in Arabic — translation assistance available if needed.
OTP digital signature — One-Time Password
A One-Time Password (OTP) is sent simultaneously to your registered phone number and email. You enter the OTP during the video call — this serves as your legal digital signature on the document.
Notary applies digital seal — document is complete
The Notary applies their official digital seal. You receive the notarized document as a digitally authenticated PDF by email — valid immediately. For overseas use, we arrange digital MOFA attestation as a follow-on step.
